Belfast Pride

We’re getting ready to celebrate Pride in Belfast.
On Saturday 25 July, we will be joining Belfast Pride to celebrate inclusion, friendship and everything that makes Scouts a place where everyone belongs. From Cubs to Explorers, young people and volunteers are all invited to take part.
This is a great opportunity to come together, represent Scouts, and show that we’re a welcoming, inclusive movement where everyone can be themselves and feel part of something.
Event details:
- Date: Saturday 25 July 2026
- Meeting point: The Big Fish, Donegal Quay, Belfast
- Meeting time: 11:30
- Finish time: Around 14:00–14:30
- Dress: Uniform or scarf with a pride influence, and comfortable shoes.
What to expect:
- 11:30 – Meet at the Big Fish – time to explore the Pride Village stalls
- 11:50 – Walk to the parade assembly point (Malmaison Hotel, Victoria Street)(https://maps.app.goo.gl/A4Cwodw5c7vfUvhg7?g_st=ic).
- 12:00 – Parade line-up deadline
- 13:00 (sharp) – Parade sets off
- 14:00–14:30 (approx.) – Parade finishes at Victoria Square beside the ‘Bandstand’ (https://maps.app.goo.gl/6ydBcWYnTSiqrQai7?g_st=ic).
We will be walking alongside other youth organisations, including Scouting Ireland, Girl Guiding Ulster and the Catholic Guides of Ireland.
