We operate our website to communicate with our members (young people and volunteer adults) and prospective members, to distribute information and resources about Scouting and to sell places on our events.

Privacy and data protection

The Scout Association takes the protection of privacy and personal data very seriously and all adults operating within Scouting, whether at UK Headquarters or within local Scout units, i.e. Scout groups, Districts, Counties, or Countries (NI), must comply with data protection law which includes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

The price for events shall be the price set out on our website on the date on which the order is placed unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Payment is only accepted in pounds sterling by credit/debit card and is due at the time of the order. Unfortunately, we will be unable to complete your order until funds are cleared.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
