Harry Raises £128 for Marie Curie

Date: 23rd Jan 2025 Author: Phoebe McDowell

On Christmas Eve, Harry McCosh, a Scout from 3rd Ballymena West Church, went above and beyond to spread festive cheer and give back to his community. Taking the initiative, Harry set up a charity collection at his local shop in support of Marie Curie Cancer.

As part of his efforts, Harry didn’t just collect donations – he also added a personal touch by handing out hand-decorated Christmas decorations to anyone who stopped to chat with him on the day!

Thanks to his hard work, kindness, and the generosity of his local community, Harry raised an impressive £128.37 to support the vital work of Marie Curie NI.

Harry’s efforts are a perfect example of how Scouts continue to make a positive difference in the world.

Well done Harry, for showing how small actions can have a big impact!
