SOWA 2026

SOWA 2026

SOWA Discovery Weekend

We’re back in January 2026 for our NI SOWA Discovery Weekend. It’s a chance to learn new skills, meet new people and get ready to start your Scout of the World Award. The award is open only to Network members and gives you the tools to make a real difference in your community and beyond.

Across the weekend, you’ll explore themes of peace, sustainability and the environment with support from our SOWA trainers. You’ll hear from past participants about their projects and begin shaping ideas for your own.

Dates and times
Friday 30 January, 7 PM to Sunday 1 February, 2 PM.

Cost
£26.50 per person

For full details about the weekend, including what to bring, please read the Participant Information Letter.

Who you’ll meet on Sunday

As part of Sunday’s programme, we’ll be joined by several of our Charity Partners. They’ll share more about their work and the types of projects you could complete with them as part of your SOWA journey. The Scouts NI Cambodia Team will also join us to talk about international project opportunities with Habitat for Humanity.
