TOE Camp 2025

Date: 31st Jul 2025 Author: Phoebe McDowell

A group of Scouts and volunteers joined the Catholic Guides of Ireland (CGGI) for TOE Camp 2025 – a weekend packed with outdoor activities and new friendships at Crawfordsburn Activity Centre.

Young people took part in everything from ziplining and canoeing to high ropes, axe throwing, and even a disco. The camp ended with a relaxed morning on the beach after a few busy days of fun and fresh air.

A charity fair, organised by young people during the camp, raised £1,000 for the NI Children’s Hospice – a fantastic effort by everyone involved!

John Campbell, one of our adult volunteers shared:

“It was a great weekend of activities, friendship and fun. A huge thank you to CGGI and NISC for organising the event.”

Thank you to Stephen Stanley and the wider team for planning and facilitating such a brilliant weekend, and to Trevor Hendren (NI Scout Team Lead) for getting the Scout section involved and on board.
