Team NI Day

Date: 18th Feb 2025 Author: Phoebe McDowell

Recently, Team NI came together to explore how we can best support Scouting in Northern Ireland and strengthen our commitment to making sure every young person gets the best possible experience.

“I want this to be a renewed effort to unite, inspire, and empower our volunteers, making sure they feel supported, valued, and ready to help young people gain skills for life.” – Stephen Bell

With great conversations, shared ideas, and a real drive to take Scouting forward, this was a day full of momentum and purpose. There is a real ambition to grow and strengthen Scouting across NI, and we’re just getting started!

A special mention to Georgie Huston, our new Cub Team Lead, who was invested on the day by Stephen Bell and received her Scouts NI scarf, as well as Pamela Emerson from 3rd Ards and Scrabo Explorers, who received her Wood Badge.

Thank you to Stephen Bell for leading the day and to Henry Brown for his support!
