SOWA Discovery Weekend 2025

Over the weekend, Crawfordsburn Activity Centre hosted the Scouts of the World Award (SOWA) Discovery event, with over 15 Network members taking part. The weekend focused on exploring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, developing meaningful project ideas, and taking the first steps toward achieving the SOWA Award.

We were also delighted to welcome a representative from the Simon Community, who shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness and how young people can make a real difference.

A huge thank you to Emma Webster for organising, Jack Denvir for his support, and to David Scott, Kayleigh Finlay, and our Chief Volunteer, Stephen Bell, for attending and encouraging our young people.
