King’s New Year Honours: Marjorie Guiler BEM

We’re proud to share that Marjorie Guiler, Squirrel Team Lead at 62nd Belfast, has been recognised in the King’s New Year Honours List with a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to children and young people.

With almost 40 years of dedication to Scouting, Marjorie has made a lasting difference to countless young people, families and volunteers. Her calm, encouraging approach and infectious passion for Scouting have helped create welcoming spaces where young people can belong, try new things and build skills for life.

Marjorie’s impact reaches far beyond her own Group. Through her generosity, commitment and belief in young people, she continues to strengthen communities and inspire others to play their part.
