Joey Completes 228-Mile Cycle and Raises Nearly £4,000 for Children’s Hospice!

Joey, a Beaver from 76th Belfast, has just completed a month-long cycling challenge to raise money for the NI Children’s Hospice – and it’s safe to say he’s done an incredible job.

What started as a 150-mile target quickly turned into something much bigger. Over 30 days, Joey cycled 228 miles across 27 days, with his dad, Stuart, riding alongside him for support. Together, they’ve raised an amazing £3,953.21 including Gift Aid for a cause that’s close to their hearts.

Joey’s rides were tracked on Strava, allowing friends, family, and supporters from the community to follow along and cheer him on throughout the month.

The final total far exceeded Joey’s original fundraising goal of £500!

Everyone at 76th Belfast, including his leaders and Beaver mascot Elmo, are really proud of what Joey has achieved.

Well done Joey – and thank you to everyone who supported his journey.
