Free funding for Scouts NI groups
Scouts NI have partnered with easyfundraising to show groups how to earn free funding through everyday online shopping – money that could be put towards new equipment, extra activities or running costs.
We’re pleased to be launching our partnership with easyfundraising to give all our groups the opportunity to raise funds through their parents, leaders and volunteers online shopping.
How it works is simple. A parent, volunteer or leader shops online as they usually would for their weekly food shop, holiday, birthday present or anything else from over 8,000 retailers, and the retailer sends your group a free donation as a thank you.
Easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest retail fundraising platform that has helped 3,500 scout group in the UK raise over £1.5 million so far – and all for free!
Getting started with easyfundraising is easy:
- Register your group: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/scouts-ni/
- Encourage parents, leaders and volunteers to sign up and support your group. In your easyfundraising account, you will find pre-written text and images you can use to make this task easier.
- Watch the pounds roll in this Autumn and decide how to spend your extra funding!
