Cambodia 2025 – Team Update

Final Prep Complete – Next Stop Cambodia!

The Cambodia team had its final preparation camp in the Mournes. We hiked to Slieve Doan and enjoyed lunch on stoves – despite the rain.

We received our final training session from Jan Lindsay, International Programme Manager at Habitat for Humanity Ireland. We were also delighted to welcome Stephen Bell (NI Chief Volunteer) and Scott Robinson (South Regional Lead Volunteer) who visited the team to offer their encouragement and thanks ahead of our journey.

A sing-along around the campfire, led by team member Ian Stewart – was, as always, a real highlight. The weekend finished with bouldering at Bloody Bridge in glorious sunshine.

Huge thanks go to Des Grant (Team Leader) for hosting us so brilliantly, with a fantastic venue, great food and warm hospitality.

Now, it’s time for the trip of a lifetime!
