Burn 24 FAQs

Date: 28th Nov 2025 Author: Phoebe McDowell

Burn 24 is back on 30 May 2026, and we’re excited to see so many of you already signed up. With over half of our spaces now filled, it’s shaping up to be another unforgettable 24 hours of challenge, adventure and non-stop energy at Crawfordsburn Activity Centre.

A few common questions have come in, so here are the answers to help you plan with your young people:

Do we get food?

Yes! Everyone should arrive with a packed lunch, and we’ll provide dinner, supper and breakfast as part of the event fee.

What’s included in the cost?

Your fee covers site costs, all activities and challenges, a badge, a t-shirt and all catering. Everything you need to take part in the full Burn experience is included.

When do bookings close?

Bookings will close as soon as the event is full. We’re already sitting at around 50% capacity, with 197 young people and 49 adults booked – so please get your places secured early.

What do we need to bring?

We’ll be sending out a full kit list so everyone knows exactly what to pack. This will include items for our Taskmaster-style challenge, plus materials for the charity fair, where each group will be asked to run a small stall.

Can leaders have a lie down?

Absolutely. Burn 24 runs for the full 24 hours, so leaders are encouraged to bring a tent or event shelter as a designated rest space. Young people can use it too if they need a break.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to Crawfordsburn in May for 24 hours your Scouts and Explorers will remember for years.
