2nd Newtownards Bowl Their Way to Victory

2nd Newtownards Squirrels have made history at the 2024 Jambowlree. Competing against 1,035 teams from 9 countries, they rolled their way to 1st, 2nd, and 10th place in the Squirrels category – an incredible achievement!

The Jambowlree is a worldwide Scouting bowling competition, bringing young people together from the UK, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Canada, Singapore, Sweden, and Norway.

Our Squirrels proved that teamwork and perseverance can take you to the top, securing:

1st Place: 2nd Ards Squirrels Team 1
2nd Place: 2nd Ards Squirrels Team 3
10th Place: 2nd Ards Squirrels Team 2

This is an amazing achievement for our youngest Scouts, showing that even at just 4-5 years old, Squirrels can aim high and achieve great things.
