12th Bangor Cubs Race to Success at Goodwood

We have fantastic news to share! Nathan, Seth, Ezekiel, Harrison, and Charlie from 12th Bangor Cubs recently traveled to England to take part in the 2024 17th Supreme Boxing Kart Championships for Cub Scouts at Goodwood Racetrack.

The competition was tough, with 42 teams from England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland battling it out over 240 heats. The boys did an amazing job, winning 10 out of 12 heats! They made it to the exciting knockout stage, reaching the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and finished in 4th place.

This is a remarkable achievement, especially since the boys had only one hour of practice with their kart the day before, while other teams had year-round practice.

The Cubs showed great teamwork and enthusiasm, cheering for all the teams.
