Painting Event at Glas-na-Bradan Woods
The Woodland Trust is running a painting event at Glas-na-Bradan Woods and Scout Groups are invited to come along and take part! This would be of particular interest to Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.
Groups will have the opportunity to help artists to paint murals of the site onto our shipping container. The artists have already painted the ‘skeleton’ of the design, and the idea is that the public will add to this design by painting a leaf/bug/flower etc using stencils.
The event is taking place on Saturday 5th August, and time slots are available from 10:30am to 3:15pm. This event is weather dependant as it cannot go ahead in the rain. Booking is essential due to the small group sizes. Please note that the container is situated 1.5km along the track, with some steep uphill sections. This is approximately a 40-minute walk from the carpark.
