Applications for the Youth Media Team, Larkin International Jamboree 2024
Applications are now open for the Youth Media Team at the Larkin International Jamboree! This Jamboree is taking place in Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire in July 2024.
Do you know any Explorers aged between 16 and 18 on the 27 July 2024 that would be a great fit for the Youth Media Team? Applications are now open!
They will have the chance to work within the Communications team and have the opportunity to work in one or two areas within the team. These include social media, radio, photography/videography, VIP/Media or the eNewspaper.
Being part of the Youth Media Team at Larkin ’24 could help towards their Kings Scout Award!
This opportunity would cover the following clause in the ICV List; International – Take an active part in an International Camp in the UK in a role other than being a participant.
To apply complete the following three tasks and email them, along with your name, address, Unit name, membership number and date of birth to media@larkinjamboree.org.uk
- Task 1 – Create a 280 character tweet to say why you would like to join the team
- Task 2 – Write a press release for a scouting/guiding event you have attended
- Task 3 – Create a video about an issue that matters to you. This should be a maximum of 3 minutes long.
The deadline for applications is 9pm Friday 8 September 2023!
Please note: The expenses for this trip will need to be fundraised by the individual if they are selected.
