Northern Ireland Squirrels online Programme resources!
This programme planning resource was created from ideas by Squirrel Leaders from across the Province.
YEAR 1 has five different Programmes for each month of the year – a total of 60 Programmes, ready to use! Each Programme is divided into 10 minute time slots featuring games, stories, crafts or activities. These timings are approximate and because no two Dreys operate the same way and every Leadership team knows their own Squirrels’ capabilities, attention span and preferences elements of the Programme can be mixed and matched. Each Programme contains more activities than would normally be completed in one evening, therefore each Programme could extend over several evenings or be used at a later date giving double the fun!!
YEAR 2 contains 12 fun Programmes for your Drey to enjoy plus 48 exciting Programmes which link to the SMILE Badge awards – I’m Active, I’m Learning, I’m Friendly and I’m Caring.
