Water Activities

Water Activities

Who doesn’t enjoy some time at the beach? So why not make a morning or afternoon of it. Our water based activities staff will get you all set-up with all your safety equipment on site before taking you down to the beach.

Canoeing

This activity takes place on Crawfordsburn beach were we take to the water and learn the basics of canoeing. For those more advanced we can offer coaching tips all the while playing some games that may or may not result in you falling in!

Kayaking

Very similar to canoeing but of course with some differences. Here you will learn how to balance and move a kayak in a real open environment. Once the basics are out of the way we can let the games begin, who will stay dry is always the question.

Raft building

Rafting can be fun for all ages and abilities. It is a good team bonding experience, develops teamwork and skill. It requires you to develop a plan together and successfully execute it.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
