DESCRIPTION:Squirrels from across NI are invited to a day of space‑themed fun at Armagh Planetarium\, packed with hands‑on activities\, big discoveries and chances to try something new. It’s an adventure designed to spark curiosity\, fuel imaginations and help our little ones learn by doing. \n\nBy taking part\, Squirrels can earn their Space Explorer Activity Badge and may even tick off parts of their World Around Us Challenge Award. \nWhat’s happening on the day:\n9.45am – Arrival\nGroups arrive at the Planetarium and are split into two sub‑groups. \n\n\n10.00am – Activity Block 1 \n\nGroup 1: Digital Dome Theatre show\nGroup 2: Space workshop and interactive exhibition\n\n11.00am – Activity Block 2 \n\nGroup 2: Digital Dome Theatre show\nGroup 1: Space workshop and interactive exhibition\n\n12.00 noon – Outdoors (weather permitting) \n\n\nBoth groups explore the Astropark or depart. DESCRIPTION:Our Hill Walking Permit Assessment Day gives adult volunteers the opportunity to gain or renew their Hill Walking Permit\, supporting the delivery of safe\, enjoyable and challenging hillwalking experiences for young people. \nTaking place in the Mourne Mountains\, the day will assess your ability to plan and lead hillwalks in line with Scouts safety guidance\, while building confidence and practical outdoor skills.
