First Response Training
Leaders, is your First Response Certificate up to date? It requires to be renewed every 3 years.
There are two options available.
- Prior Learning
Have you completed First Aid through work or another organisation? Ensure your course covered the First Response syllabus Module 10 – First Response | Scouts. If it does, send your certificate to your GSL or District Training Adviser who will ask for confirmation against the First Response syllabus. If it has covered the same topics your compass record will be updated.
2. Practical Training Sessions
First Response training sessions are organised by Counties and Districts throughout the year. You should contact your local district team to check when their next training session is being run.
